21 year old Cierra B. Doherty of Springerton is free on $250 bond following her arrest Saturday afternoon. Carmi Police initiated a traffic stop on a black Ford Crown Victoria on Plum Street at W. Webb Street due to the registered owner having a suspended driver’s license. Doherty was cited for Driving While License is Suspended and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
