In White County Court on Wednesday, 61 year old Gregg Duckworth of Springerton was sentenced to 10 years in prison on a charge of possession of methamphetamine according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
Following incarceration, Duckworth will be under mandatory supervised release for two years, and he was ordered by Judge T Scott Webb to pay fines, fees, costs, and assessments totaling $10,000.
Duckworth was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle and the case was investigated by the Carmi Police Department.
