First Bank, First Insurance, and Southern Illinois Title employees created eight Spring Baskets to be raffled at the Senior Citizens Center on Friday, March 18th, in downtown Carmi. Funds from the raffle will be used towards their recently purchased new van used for meal deliveries throughout White County. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5 and are available at the Center. These baskets and others created by Center employees are on display at the Center as of February 18th and will also be displayed on Friday night, March 11th, at the First Methodist Church in downtown Carmi when First Bank holds a “Family Feud” fundraiser for the Center beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free with local organizations and businesses entering teams to compete for Feud braggin’ rights! Raffle tickets will be for sale that night, and donations will be accepted.
