Special Alzheimer’s Program at Carmi Library

Special Alzheimer’s Program at Carmi Library

The warning signs of Alzheimer’s Disease are often dismissed as side effects of normal aging.

If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection gives one a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in a clinical study and plan for the future.

A special program to be held at the Carmi Public Library will cover the ten warning signs of Alzheimers. The session will separate myth from reality and address commonly held fears about the disease. The program will run about an hour and a half and there will be time for questions following the presentation.

The program will be held at noon, Thursday, Oct. 18 and will include lunch. However reservations are required to determine the number of lunches to be provided. The lunch is provided by Botsch and Associates, CPAs. To reserve a spot, one may call 618-382-5277

The library is located at 103 Slocumb St., across Main Street from the First Baptist Church.
