SIC White County Center Special Progams
Southeastern Illinois College, Carmi campus will be offering several special programs in the coming weeks, including how to start a business and an AARP Defensive Driving class.
How to start a business in Illinois workshop will be presented by the Small Business Development Center on Oct. 16, beginning at 9 that morning in Room 103 of the Carmi campus. This is a free program, but reservations are requested.
An AARP Defensive Driving course will be offered Nov 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. until 1 that afternoon. It will also be held in Room 103. There are fees for the course, which are payable to AARP.
Going Social Small Business Development Center workshop will be held Nov 7 at 10 that morning in room 103. The workshop will focus on how to make social media work for your business. There is a $10 fee for the course and pre-registration is required.
