Southeastern Illinois College will once again be hosting a Job Fair in the Harry L. Crisp Student Center corridor on April 26 from 9 a.m.- noon.
At SIC’s annual Job Fair, job seekers of all types will have an opportunity to survey the employment field, network and perhaps take a step toward a new future. Attendees can expect nearly 40 vendors from a wide variety of areas and industries, including an auto components manufacturer, hospitals, nursing homes, hair salons, food and soft drink manufactures and military branches. The event is free not only for job-seekers, but also for employers to set up a booth.
“This is a great place for those who are looking for employment, or more information on employers to start,” said Lori Cox, associate dean of workforce and community education. “Not often does a person get to speak with this number of employers all in one place.”
Those attending should bring copies of their resume and dress to interview.
The fair is held in cooperation with the Saline County Chamber of Commerce, WEBQ Radio, the Illinois Department of Employment Services and SIC.
For further information or questions about the Job Fair, or to reserve a booth, call Kelli Mahoney at 618-252-5400 ext. 2302.
