The White County Sheriff’s Department arrested 30 year old Philip Burton of Carmi Wednesday afternoon on a White County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of theft.
Burton was taken into custody at 4:18 pm at a residence on Schumaker Street. He was transported to the White County Jail and is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
