The White County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a theft of irrigation wire reported on Wednesday.
Van Henning told deputies that the theft had occurred sometime between April 28th and May 23rd. The wire was taken from Section 19 Hawthorn East, just South of Campbell’s Oil. The estimated cost to replace the wire is $6800.
