The White County Sheriff’s Department took a burglary report on Saturday from Jake Campbell, who told deputies that sometime between June 1st and July 1st, someone stole five guns and a security system from his residence. Missing are a Kel-Tec AR pistol, a Henry Golden Boy rifle, a 357 pistol with pink grips, and two Rock River AR rifles.
Campbell believes that the thefts may have been committed by someone who works for him, as there was no forced entry at the house.
Later Saturday, Joseph Buckman reported that two orange sit on top kayaks had been stolen from his grandfather’s property during the past month.
On Sunday, George Miller reported to Sheriff’s deputies that someone had driven a side by side ATV across his property and had damaged a utility pole owned by Wayne White Co-op. The utility company was notified of the damage.
