The White County Sheriff’s Department took a theft report on Saturday evening about a break in at an Enfield residence. Ray Reynolds told deputies that between 4pm Thursday and 4pm Sunday someone entered his house at 208 St. Louis Street and took a 32 inch flatscreen TV, two video game consoles, and several video game discs.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested 29 year old Caitlin Williams of Crossville in Grayville on Saturday night on a Wabash County warrant. Williams was taken into custody following a traffic stop at North and Court Streets at 11:30pm and transported to the White County Jail. Williams was later released after posting $300 bond.
Sunday afternoon, 28 year old Matthew Sallee of Norris City surrendered himself at the Sheriff’s Office on a White County warrant for burglary and criminal damage to property. Sallee was taken into custody at 2:30pm and transferred to the White County Jail, where he is being held in lieu of a $7500 bond.
