Sheriff Reports Theft and Warrant Arrest
The White County sheriff’s Department received a report of theft Thursday afternoon.
Christine F. Mick, 701 Morrell Street, Crossville, reported the theft of a handicapped license plate. The plate number was W238353.
It was noted the theft occurred sometime in the past week. Authorities indicated the plate number would be put in the LEADs system as a stolen license plate.
Friday afternoon, the sheriff’s office picked up Sherman Ray Hilborn, 53, 406 W. Main, Crossville, on an outstanding warrant. Hilborn was transported to the City County jail in Carmi for processing where bond was set at $500. Reports indicated Hilborn remained in custody early Monday.
