Semi Stuck in Yards

Semi Stuck in Yards

A semi-truck owned by Convenant Transport of Tennessee, and driven by Michael N. Okonji of Georgia, ended up stuck in two yards Friday morning.

According to the White County Sheriff’s Department incident report, Okonji was following his GPS when he turned onto County Road 800 North. When he realized he was on a secondary road, Okonji attempted to turn around.

That attempt to turn around resulted in damage to the yards of Larry Hite and Ron Kingery.

The semi was loaded and could not be moved, requiring Les Wilson Oilfield Service to bring two oilfield winch trucks to the scene to remove the stuck semi.
