School Facilities Available for Walkers

This morning’s frosty temperatures are a reminder to area walkers, it might be time to look for indoor walking space.

With that in mind, Brad Lee, Carmi White County Unit 5 School Superintendent, announced facilities will be offered to walkers again this year. That includes Washington Attendance Center and the Junior/Senior High School. Walkers are asked to check with the building prinicipals to obtain a walker’s/visitor’s pass. At that time, the principals can inform walkers of the times the buildings are available before and after school hours.

This program allows members of the community an opportunity to benefit from school facilities, they support.
