School Board Meeting Set for Monday
The Carmi White County Unit 5 School Board will meet in regular session Monday evening for a full agenda including a number of items relating to hiring.
The board will meet at 7 at Jefferson Attendance Center. Business to be covered include a resolution authorizing the abatement of bond levy and a review of next year’s tax levy.
The board will look at vehicle bids and then in a closed session will consider the employment of a building secretary at Brownsville Attendance Center; a building volunteer at Jefferson; the reassignment to the sixth grade boys basketball coach; employment of a fifth grade boys basketball coach; an assistant junior high volleyball coach, as well as consider an increase to the salaries of support staff, not in the union and possible action to increase administrator compensation.
The Carmi White County School Board normally meets the third Monday of each month.
