Each month, Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee who has exemplified outstanding patient care and customer service internally and externally.

In August, Samantha Gill, LSW, who has been with Fairfield Memorial Hospital for about one year, was named Employee of the Month. Samantha quickly became a very valued employee and member of the Social Services team. She is described to be very meticulous in the completion of work requirements and has an excellent working relationship with the Med/Surg staff, evidenced by the number of compliments she receives both from staff and patients.
“Samantha is quick to offer assistance when and where the need arises as she supports her fellow discharge planner on the Skilled Care Unit. She goes above and beyond striving to ensure the needs of FMH patients are met in the area of discharge planning,” stated Kathie Hill, MSW, LCSW, FMH Social Service Director.
