May 21st Run for the Wall to Cause Extra Traffic in Mt. Vernon
MT. VERNON, IL, April 25- Broadway Street will experience an influx of traffic on Tuesday, May 21st as more than 500 motorcyclists proceed through Mt. Vernon as part of the 31st Annual Run for the Wall Ride. Bikers across the nation assemble annually for the Run for the Wall ride that promotes healing among veterans, calls for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA), honors the memory of those Killed in Action (KIA), and supports our military personnel all over the world. The ride begins in California and ends at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. Mt. Vernon is their only stop in Illinois.
