Roads Posted Across the County
Local truck drivers, farmers and oil field workers are reminded county and township roads are now posted with weight limits.
Those limits will remain in effect until April 15. The roads were actually posted last week, with the restrictions beginning Jan. 15.
There is a five ton, (10,000 pounds) load limit on secondary county and township roads.
Anyone violating the posted road notices will be prosecuted and are also liable for all damage done to the roadways.
While many farmers will be needing to haul grain to cover February contracts, they are reminded roads are posted, and they will need permission from township road commissioners or the county engineer Brian Ray prior to running the roadways with loaded semi trailers.
