Recycling Day Set for February
The City of Carmi will host an electronic recycling day in February.
The recycling will occur at 520 North Third Street, here in Carmi, again on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 9 til 1.
The items that will be accepted include computers, televisions, radios, cellphones, laptops, servers DVDs, stereos, all computer parts, mice/keyboards, printers, microwaves and vacuum cleaners.
Items that will not be accepted include white goods, refrigators, batteries, any item that contains mercury, thermostats, light bulbs, air conditioners, explosives or liquids.
