No Action Following Carmi Council Closed Session
The Carmi City Council meeting closed with an executive session Tuesday evening to discuss litigation concerning the city and Phoenix Rehab.
The litigation concerns money from the city to Phoenix, who basically left town owing the city and the revolving loan fund a considerable amount of money.
There was no action following the closed session, which basically allowed Mayor Jeff Pollard to bring the aldermen up to date on the status of legal actions against Phoenix Rehabilitation.
