NCOE School Board Meets New Staff
The minutes and bills were approved as submitted to the NCOE School Board on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the regularly scheduled meeting.
Superintendent Matt Vollman gave the audit report submitted by C.J. Schlosser & Co., LLC. The audit indicated the school district had a “clean” audit and is in good financial standing overall.
Mrs. Carter introduced the new Booth teachers Teresa Hutchinson, 2nd grade; Magon Karns, 4th grade; and Kathryn Baltzell, speech pathologist to the Board. Tanya Trout, 1st grade; Amelia Schwartz, 4th grade; Stephen Humphrey, jr. high social studies; and Marsha Humphrey, jr. high reading and language arts are the new teachers at NCO that Mr. Foster introduced during the meeting.
NCOE will be hosting the volleyball regionals the week of October 22nd. The math and science club is planning their fall fun day on October 26th.
Booth student council and PTO is having a Haunted Hallway October 26th. The first home game for the Jr. High Basketball team is Monday, October 25th.
Red ribbon week will be October 29 through November 2.
The Board agreed to allow winter walkers in the high school gym in the mornings from 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
