The NCOE Board of Education held their monthly meeting on Wednesday evening in the Superintendent’s office. The meeting was brief with a short agenda.
The minutes and the bills for the month were approved as presented.
During the Treasurer’s Report, Mr. Vollman stated that overall the funds were in good standing. However, the state has not issued any transportation money for this school year. The Board agreed to transfer $72,491.10 from working cash to the transportation fund during the meeting.
The FFA Alumni Auction will be this upcoming Saturday at Booth. The Board members were invited to attend.
On February 1, a blood drive will be held at the high school. Homecoming is taking place in February as well. The game will be on the 9th and the dance will be on the evening of the 10th.
Mr. Vollman reported to the Board that the roof construction has been completed at Booth Elementary from the previous wind damage.
The Board approved the firm bid for gasoline and diesel products from Heritage Petroleum through January 2019.
