NCOE Picks Up Tuesday Night Win Over Carrier Mills
After trailing 12-7 after 1 and 18-13 at the Half, NCOE outscored the visiting Carrier Mills Wildcats Tuesday night 24-12 to run away with a 37-30 win as the regular season winds down. The Fighting Cardinals were paced by Jack Riggs with 11. Brandon Skaggs added 10, Ty Money contributed 7, CJ Richardson deposited 5 and sophomore Joe Melton came off the bench to add 4.
The Redbirds shot 11 of 26 from the floor including 7 of 15 from short range and 4 of 11 from beyond the 3 point line. NCOE was 61% from the charity stripe at 11 of 16 opportunities and coughed up the ball only 7 times. NCOE pulled down 15 rebounds including 4 offensive boards.
