NCOE golfers traveled to McLeansboro Golf Course for a four team match Friday, August 18.Hamilton County took high honors by sweeping the three opponents carding a 157. NCOE scored a 194, two strokes better than the Goreville team at 196. Hardin County had a tough night coming in at 216.
Medalist for NCOE was Brandon Skaggs who carded a 44. Contributing to the wins were Treylen Veach with a 49, Ty Money with a 50, and Joe Melton with a 51. Also competing was Jack Riggs, and Gavin Dauby in the boys’ match. Representing NCOE in the girls match was Riley Price.
The team returns to Hamilton County August 22. On August 29 the team travels to Fairfield and the following evening to Carmi.
