Mt. Carmel Police Department arrest report 9/29-9/30

The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

09/29/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old Christopher J. Perry of Mt. Carmel on a failure to appear warrant out of Wabash County.  The arresting officer reported seeing Perry walking in the area of McDowell and Mulberry Street.  The arresting officer knew Perry was wanted and placed him under arrest.  Perry was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $300.00 cash bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old Clayton O. Dunlap of Flat Rock, Illinois after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that he was wanted on a Crawford County warrant for violating his probation.  It was also discovered that Dunlap was driving on a revoked driver’s license.  Dunlap was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  Dunlap was also served the Crawford County warrant.  Dunlap was held pending the posting of $425.00 bond.

09/30/2016- A vehicle stopped for driving the wrong way in the 300 block of E. 2nd Street resulted in 3 people being cited for possession of cannabis.  Karissa N. Casper, age 20, Chase A.N. Kramer, age 20, and Sebastian S. Buckingham, age 20, all from Evansville, Indiana were cited for possession cannabis.  Kramer was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.  The subjects were given a non-mandatory court date and released.

On 09/30/2016, Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Trevor W. Hammond of Mt. Carmel.  Police were called to a residence in the 200 block of W. 4th Street reference a welfare check.  While at the residence Hammond was found to be in possession of 2 pairs of brass knuckles.  Hammond was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.  Hammond was held pending the setting of bond.
