Surface and underground miners can enroll today in an Annual Refresher Training, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 10 at Rend Lake College. The class runs from 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the Coal Mine Training Center on the Ina campus.
The one-day training course will fulfill the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s requirements for ten hours of annual retraining for anyone working in a coal mine. Safety and first aid will be among the topics covered.
