We are gearing up for our fundraising banquet on March 24, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. located at The Floral Hall at the White County Fairgrounds in Carmi, IL.  Tickets for this event are $25 a person or $200 for a table of 8. This special event will feature Midwest Dueling Pianos, silent and live auctions to benefit The Guardian Center’s programs for abused children and their families.

Midwest Dueling Pianos offersa wildly entertaining music and comedy dueling piano show the audience will love. The one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that is Midwest Dueling Pianos will have you singing, cheering, dancing, and laughing so hard, you’ll be doubled over gasping for breath. It’s an experience unlike any other that will leave you amazed and begging for more.

If you would like to sponsor this event or donate items for these auctions contact Nicole at  [email protected] or 618-382-8247.  Any contribution you might be able to make toward this fundraiser would be appreciated greatly and help us better serve children and families.

We hope to have a large crowd to enjoy this evening of fun entertainment while helping us raise funds to continue our mission of reducing trauma for abused children.

In addition to the banquet, The Guardian Center invites the public to make nominations of someone they believe is a true “Friend of the Children” in the community…someone who contributes in a special way to meet the needs of children in the Edwards, Crawford, Gallatin, Lawrence, Richland, Saline, Wabash, or White County area.

The primary criteria for the Friend of the Children Award are: The individual has an established record of working with children in some mentoring/treatment/character building activity. The individual has gone “above and beyond” the call of duty in their service to children.

Please include a letter of why you are nominating this person and list things they have done in the community for the children. Also, try to include 3 letters of support. Please have nominations in by March 10th.
