The following individuals were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
05/01/2018, Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Shannon N. Fisher of Keensburg on a warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine. On October 17, 2017, Fisher was arrested for driving while suspended. During the arrest MCPD Officer’s and K-9 Ace located an unknown substance in a vehicle she was driving. MCPD sent the unknown substance to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for analysis and it was determined to be methamphetamine. Fisher was taken to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of $1,000 cash bond.
Mt. Carmel Police were given a tip that narcotics were being used at the Valley Garden Dorms located at 119 Risley Avenue in Mt. Carmel. Police responded to the area and arrested 20 year old Natalie E. Laws of Mt. Carmel after it is alleged she was found in possession of five small bags of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and electronic scales. Laws was arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivery of cannabis. Laws was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of bond. Police also arrested 19 year old Brooke M. Dehosse of Princeton when officer’s found her to be in possession of alcohol. Dehosse was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for possession of alcohol by a minor and then released. MCPD was assisted by the Sheriff’s Office.
