The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
10/16/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 54 year old Timothy R. Woods of Princeton, Indiana after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of Pecan Avenue and 1st Street. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Woods was operating on a suspended driver’s license. Woods was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for unlawful display of a license plate and driving while license is suspended.
10/17/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Shannon N. Fisher of Keensburg after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Fisher was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Fisher was cited for driving suspended and released.
10/19/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old Nicholas Irelan of Mt. Carmel after police received a report that he violated an order of protection on 10/18/2017. Mt. Carmel Police located Irelan at the Economy Inn in Mt. Carmel and placed him under arrest. Irelan is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 46 year old Donald Scott Baird of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop MCPD K-9 Ace indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in officer’s locating suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Baird was placed under arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with defective windshield, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Baird is being held pending the setting of bond.
