The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
06/05/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 28 year old Thomas E. Fugate and 29 year old Heather M. Hall both of Mt. Carmel. Police arrested the pair while conducting a traffic stop. During the traffic stop drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. Fugate was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Hall was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violating an order of protection. Hall had a valid order of protection against her stating she wasn’t supposed to be around Fugate. Both subjects were transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
06/06/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 32 year old Jackie P. Martinez of Mt. Carmel and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. Martinez was arrested while investigating a fight in the area of Poplar Street and Poplar Court. Martinez was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
