The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
08/25/2017- Mt. Carmel Police arrested 29 year old Brent W. Bolden of Mt. Carmel after police were investigating a child welfare complaint. Bolden is accused of being under the influence of narcotics while taking care of a 20 month old child. Bolden was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with endangering the life of a child. Bolden was held pending the posting of bond.
08/27/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 28 year old David M. Blanchette of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the area of 2nd and Walnut Street reference a disturbance. Police would later locate the suspect passed out in a tent in the area of Pecan Avenue. Blanchette is accused of yelling obscenities at a couple while they were standing in their yard. Blanchette was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Blanchette was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 52 year old Kevin R. Harms of Mt. Carmel after police saw him in the 200 block of Walnut Street. The arresting officer knew Harms was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Harms was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $300.00.
