The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
06/07/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 34 year old Nicole M. Morgan of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that she was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Morgan was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of bond.
06/09/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 36 year old Tommy L. Askren of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Police located Askren walking in the 500 block of Walnut Street and placed him under arrest. Askren was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $300.00 cash.
06/10/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 29 year old Justin Boner of Mt. Carmel after police were called to 110 Jaquess Street in reference to a male subject chasing juveniles with a baseball telling them he was going to “kill them”. The father of the juveniles intervened and called the police. The suspect was identified Boner and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Boner was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
06/11/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 37 year old Thomas “Mel” Miller of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the 1000 block of Parrish Street reference a domestic. Police were told by the victim that Miller threw her to the ground causing a minor injury. The victim was a family member and was subsequently arrested for domestic battery. Miller was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the setting of bond.
06/12/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Ashleigh N. Folsom of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Folsom’s driver’s license was revoked. Folsom was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for driving while license is revoked and improper lane usage. Folsom was held pending the posting of bond.
