The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
06/21/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old Joshua L. O’Gorman of Grayville after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop the arresting officer found suspected crystal methamphetamine, cannabis and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and on O’Gormans person. O’Gorman was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of cannabis, and delivery of methamphetamine. O’Gormon is being held pending the posting of bond.
06/22/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested year old Jesika R. Moreno for driving suspended. Police observed Moreno operating a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Walnut Street and knew she was suspended. Moreno was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with driving while suspended. This was Moreno’s second arrest in a week for driving suspended. Moreno was held pending the posting of bond.
06/23/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Trenton L. Weaver of Mt. Carmel after he was found to be in possession of more than 10 grams of cannabis. Police were originally called to 119 E. 11th Street in Mt. Carmel reference a barking dog complaint. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Weaver was in possession of the the suspected cannabis. Weaver was transported to the Wabash County Jail and charged with possession of cannabis. Weaver was held pending the posting of bond.
Police arrested 36 year old Derek W. Deisher of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation. The arresting officer reported detected an alcoholic beverage smell coming from Deisher’s person. After conducting field sobriety testing Deisher was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Deisher was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for DUI and no valid registration. Deisher was held pending the posting of bond.
06/24/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 44 year old Ricky L. Ledford of Tell City (Indiana). During the traffic stop it was discovered that Ledford was wanted on a domestic battery warrant out of White County. The arresting officer reported that Ledford had an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. It was reported that Ledford failed sobriety testing. Ledford was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for DUI, Speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone, driving while revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, and possession of cannabis. Ledford was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 33 year old Mallory L. Hall for harassment by telephone. Hall is accused of continuously calling her ex-husband even after he told her to stop. Hall was located and arrested for harassment by the telephone. Hall was transported to the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office where she was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 51 year old Ronald E. Lynn of Grayville after he was stopped by police in the area of 9th and Oak Street. Lynn was wanted on a White County warrant charging him with harassment by electronic communications. Lynn was arrested and transported Lynn to the Wabash County Jail where he posted $150.00 cash bond.
