The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
06/19/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 37 year old Michelle A. Johnson of Sharon, Pennsylvania after she was stopped by Mt. Carmel Police. The vehicle was stopped in the 300 block of McDowell Street in Mt. Carmel for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop the reporting officer detected an alcoholic beverage smell coming from her person. Johnson was given field sobriety test which resulted in her being arrested for DUI. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for DUI, failure to signal when required, and Illegal transportation of alcohol. Johnson was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 22 year old Peyton N. Fearheiley of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped by the Mt. Carmel Police for a traffic violation. Police stopped Fearheiley after observing her driving in the wrong lane of traffic. The arresting officer reported smelling an alcoholic beverage smell coming from her person. After submitting to field sobriety testing Fearheiley was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Fearheiley was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with DUI and driving in the wrong lane. Fearheiley was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 37 year old Felicia J. Fritchley of Mt. Carmel after police were called to Wabash General Hospital in reference to a combative person. When police arrived on scene the found Fritchley acting in a disorderly manner. It is alleged that she attacked a responding officer causing a laceration to the officer’s arm. Fritchley was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer. Fritchley was held pending the posting of bond.
