The following subject was arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
05/30/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 57 year old Cheryl A. Blair of Mt. Erie after police were called to Shopko reference a retail theft. Blair is accused of stealing plants located outside of the store. Blair was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with one count of retail theft. Blair was held pending the posting of bond.
05/31/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 52 year old Kelly D. Robinson of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Robinson was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Robinson was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with driving while license is suspended. Robinson was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 18 year old Branson R. Hall of Mt. Carmel after police were called to Wabash General Hospital reference an unwanted person. Police located Hall and discovered that he was under the influence of alcohol. Hall was arrested and a search of his person was conducted which resulted in police locating drug paraphernalia. Hall was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Hall was held pending the posting of bond.
