The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
03/20/2017- Mt. Carmel Police arrested 22 year old Kendal M. Martin of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the 1100 block of Mulberry Street reference an unwanted person. While police were obtaining witness information they spoke with Martin. Martin provided police with a false name and date of birth. It was discovered that Martin wasn’t who she said she was and was subsequently arrested. Martin was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
03/21/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 28 year old Thomas E. Fugate of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of Poplar Street. During the traffic stop it was discovered Fugate was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Fugate was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail and charged with driving while suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and unlawful display of registration. Fugate was held pending the posting of bond.
