MCPD arrest report 3/14-3/15

The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

03/15/2017- Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Dustin I Fisher of Mt. Carmel after he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Police responded to a suspicious person call in the  500 block of W. 1st Street and that is where they located Fisher.  Police located a smoking device on the person of Fisher and he was subsequently arrested.  Fisher was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

03/14/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 34 year old Curt E. Dill after leading police on a short vehicle chase.  Police were called to the end of Division Street reference a person driving a 3 Wheeler ATV on another person’s property.  When police attempted to make contact with the driver he fled leading police on a chase.  Police were able to catch the driver who was identified as Dill.  Dill was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with driving while revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and improper operation of an ATV.  Dill is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending a bond hearing.

Mt. Carmel Police were called to the Dollar General Store reference a belligerent female inside of the business.  As police were arriving on scene they were notified the defendant was leaving in a 2004 Mazda.  Police were able to stop the vehicle where they made contact with the passenger, Sarah E. Kissee, age 26 of Noble, Illlinois.  Kissee was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.  Kissee was held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 44 year old Kelly D. Hannah of Mt. Carmel after police responded to a 911 call to 800 block of W. 9th Street reference a disturbance.  When officer’s arrived on scene they located an intoxicated Hannah and determined she called 911 without an emergency.  This was not the first time Hannah had called 911 without a true complaint.  When police went to arrested Hannah she resisted arrest.  Hannah was eventually arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting a peace officer, and aggravated battery.  Hannah is being held pending the setting and posting of bond.
