MCPD arrest report 2/27-3/1

The following individuals were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

02/27/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Daisha B. Ott of Ft. Branch, Indiana after the vehicle she was driving was stopped for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop it was discovered that she was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license.  Ott was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while suspended.  A passenger in the vehicle was identified as 25 year old Andrew J. Helm of Princeton, Indiana was also arrested when officer’s found him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Helm was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both subjects were held pending the posting of bond.

02/28/2017-A Mt. Carmel Police Department drug investigation lead to the arrest of 26 year old Felecia P. McClellan of Bridgeport, Illinois.  McClellan was arrested on a Wabash County warrant charging her with delivery of a controlled substance.  McClellan is part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics being brought into the City of Mt. Carmel.  A Mt. Carmel Police Officer observed McClellan in the area of 6th and Walnut Street.  The arresting officer took McClellan into custody and transported her to the Wabash County Jail.  McClellan is being held on a $5,000 cash bond warrant.  McClellan is also being held on a Lawrence County failure to appear warrant.

03/01/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 56 year old Billy J. Wagner of Mt. Carmel after he arrived at the Wabash County Courthouse.  It was discovered that Wagner was wanted on a violation of probation warrant out of Wabash County.  Wagner was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $2,000 cash.
