The following subjects were arrested by the Mt .Carmel Police Department. All subjects were innocent until proven guilty in court of law.
10/02/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 28 year old Logan N. Stoneberger of Mt. Carmel after police observed her crawling through a window of an apartment in the 1400 block of W. 3rd Street. Police contacted the property manager who advised that Stoneberger was barred from the property. Police located Stoneberger in the apartment and placed her under arrest for criminal trespass to state supported land. Stoneberger is being held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 40 year old Ivan K. Dill of Mt. Carmel after police observed him walking down River Road. The arresting officer knew Dill was wanted on a Wabash County warrant. The warrant charges Dill with criminal trespass to a residence. MCPD took a complaint last week where the victim claims that she found an intoxicated Dill inside of her residence. Dill was not charged at the time but a warrant was later issued. Dill is being held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 29 year old Mallory A. Heltsey of Fransico, Indiana after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that she was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Heltsey was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and given a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Heltsey was held at the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
10/03/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 52 year old Vincent Sutton of Mt. Carmel he was observed violating an order of protection. During the arrest of Sutton it was discovered that he was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Sutton was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with violation of an order of protection and possession of methamphetamine. Sutton is being held pending a first appearance.
