MCPD arrest report 10/12-10/13/16

The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

10/12/2016-Mt. Carmel Police were called to 1128 Poplar Street reference a disturbance.  When MCPD Officer’s arrived on scene they located Pamela K. Weiss, age 56, of Mt. Carmel sitting on the front porch of the residence.  Weiss advised that she had been struck by Roger K. Burns, age 61, of Mt. Carmel.  During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Weiss took a wooden baseball bat and broke out windows to the residence.  After interviewing witnesses it was determined that both Weiss and Burns would be arrested for domestic battery.  When officer’s arrested Weiss she was found to be in possession of prescription pills not prescribed to her and suspected methamphetamine.  Both subjects were transferred to the Wabash County Jail.  Burns was charged with domestic battery and held pending the posting of bond.  Weiss was charged with domestic battery, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance.  Weiss is being held pending the posting of bond.

10/13/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 27 year old Tracy Curtis Wilson of Mt. Carmel after a traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of Walnut Street.  The arresting officer knew Wilson was wanted on a Wabash County violation of conditional charge warrant.  Wilson was taken into custody and is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of $1000.00 cash bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 23 year old Trevor L. Mitchell of Mt. Carmel after he was observed getting into a vehicle parked in the 300 block of W. 10th Street.  Mitchell was wanted on a Wabash County domestic battery warrant.  Mitchell was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $500.00 cash bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 39 year old Robert W. Wiley of Newton, Illinois after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by officers.  During the traffic stop it was discovered that Wiley was wanted on a Richland County warrant.  Wiley was cited by the arresting officer for no valid driver’s license and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  Wiley was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $575.00 bond.
