The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
10/10/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old Tabetha L. Cassady of Bridgeport after the vehicle she was driving was stopped by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. During the traffic stop it was discovered that she was driving on a suspended driver’s license, was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Cassady was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of bond. Cassady was cited for driving while suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and served the failure to appear warrant.
10/12/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 43 year old Matthew J. Noble of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Noble was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Noble was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
10/13/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Billy J. Dill of Mt. Carmel after police observed him walking in the 600 block of W. 6th Street. The arresting officer knew Dill was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Edwards County. Dill was placed under arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $200.00 bond.
10/14/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 31 year old Clayton S. Kirkman of Mt. Carmel after police observed him in the 200 block of Walnut Street. The arresting officer knew Kirkman was banned from the property. Kirkman was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with criminal trespass to property. Kirkman was held pending the posting of bond.
