On 04/04/2016, the Mt. Carmel Police went to 207 N. Mulberry Street in Mt. Carmel and arrested Telisa D. Brown, age 50, of Mt. Carmel. Brown was wanted on a destruction of state supported property warrant for an incident at the Wabash County Jail. On 03/22/2016, Brown was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police after her vehicle was stopped in the 100 block of E. 3rd Street. During the traffic stop, K9-Ace detected the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A small amount of suspected methamphetamine was found in the purse belonging to Brown. Brown was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of methamphetamine. While in the jail Brown became upset and broke a phone causing it to be inoperable. A warrant was issued for Brown shortly after her release. Brown was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held on a $1,000 cash bond.
