38 year old James B. Robinson of McLeansboro was sentenced in Hamilton County Court Wednesday to four years in prison according to States Attorney Justin Hood.
Robinson was charged with driving on a revoked license after he was pulled over by McLeansboro Police in April. He was sentenced to two years on that charge.
Robinson also was convicted on two separate retail theft charges and sentenced to two years on each. Robinson was shown on video security cameras stealing a t-bone steak from the Food Park store on May 9th and stealing an ice cream cake from the Dairy Queen in McLeansboro on May 15th. McLeansboro City Police investigated both cases.
The two retail theft sentences will run concurrently with each other and consecutively with the driving sentence. Following incarceration, Robinson will be under mandatory supervised release for one year.
