A 57 year old McLeansboro man, Steven “Tony” Sullivan is behind bars in the White County Jail following his arrest Saturday for Violating an Order of Protection. McLeansboro Police responded to a call Saturday around 11:41 to the Diefenback Apartment Complex. Officers met with an individual who reported that “Tony” was in an apartment with Sue Sullivan who had a valid order of protection against him. Sue Sullivan told Officers “Tony” was not there. Further investigation determined that “Tony” was hiding in a broom closet. He was taken into custody and transported to the White County Jail pending bond being set by a judge.
