Major Drug Bust in Edwards County
An Albion man remains a prisoner in the City County Jail, here in Carmi, after his arrest late last week on drug charges in Edwards County.
Barry L. Cowling, 57 of rural Albion was arrested Thursday after a search warrant was executed at his residents by Edwards County Sheriff’s Deputies. The deputies located and seized almost one half pound of methamphetamine, several items of drug paraphernalia, over 30 firearms and some cash.
Along with the possession charges, additional charges are expected to be filed against Cowling.
