November 17th and 18th will be another eventful weekend here in Carmi.
The Holiday Shopping Strolls will take place as a part of the” It’s A White County Christmas.” The Chamber encourages everyone to shop Carmi first during the holidays.
On Saturday, The Reindeer Run for Jefferson School will take place. This is a fun event that everyone enjoys. The White County Senior Citizen’s will host a Soup Luncheon from 11am-2p. The Wabash Chapter DAR Festival of Trees will be held in the First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust Community Room from 9am-2pm. For an admission price of $1.00 you can view the decorated trees, vote on your favorite, and get registered for a door prize! Anyone can set up a tree for the contest and Barbra Karger is looking for more entries. You can call her for more information at 382-3841
