The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Gallatin County on Saturday in the opening round of the Eldorado Mid-Winter Classic by a final score of 55-17.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 11-5 on the year, they will head back to Eldorado today to face Harrisburg in the semifinals at 1 PM. If the Lady Bulldogs win, they will play for the tournament championship Thursday night.
The 45th Annual Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament gets underway tonight at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. Mt. Vernon and Harrisburg will play at 5:30, followed by Carmi and Evansville Day School at 7 PM.
All Carmi games will be streamed on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel, non-Carmi games will be streamed on the CWCHS Hudl Fan page.
The Carmi-White County Wrestling team will be hosting a varsity tournament today at Washington School. Over 21 teams will be competing. Wrestling begins at 9 AM.
