In IHSA Girls Basketball Sectional Championships last night,
Edwards County defeated Marissa in the 1A Trico Sectional Championship by a final score of 40-37.
The Lions will face Carrollton in the Okawville Super-Sectional on Monday.
Mt. Carmel defeated Teutopolis in the 2A Paris Sectional by a final score of 42-32.
The Lady Aces will face Kankakee-McNamara in the Tolono-Unity on Monday.
