The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team will battle Mt. Carmel tomorrow night at the IHSA Hamilton County 2A Regional Championship.
The Lady Bulldogs are 19-9 on the year after defeating Hamilton County in the Regional Semifinals on Monday by a final score of 44-40.
The Lady Bulldogs are playing in the regional title game for the second straight season. This will be Carmi’s second matchup with the Lady Aces this season, Mt. Carmel came away with a 40-28 win earlier this month.
Fans will be able to watch and listen to tomorrow night’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel, weather permitting. Stay tuned to the WRUL Sports Facebook page for updates regarding any changes made due to winter weather.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team was supposed to play Lawrenceville at home last night, but that game was canceled due to the snowy forecast. The Bulldogs are scheduled to host Fairfield on Friday for their final game of the regular season, and it will also be Senior Night. Carmi will then begin regional play on Monday at home against West Frankfort. If the Bulldogs win Monday, they will face Benton in the Regional Semifinals next Wednesday at Hamilton County.
