The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball went 2-2 this past weekend at the 60th Annual Eldorado Holiday Tournament.
Carmi lost in the opening round to Eldorado 57-56, they then defeated Gallatin County and Hardin County to put themselves in the Consolation Championship where they would lose to Edwards County, 43-33.
The Bulldogs are now 6-7 on the year, they will have this week off, their next game will be next Tuesday when they host Evansville Day School.
The Herrin Tigers won the Eldorado Holiday Tournament for the 4th straight year, as they defeated Carterville 61-50 in the Championship Game on Saturday Night.
Harrisburg defeated Vienna in the 3rd Place Game, 47-40.
Massac County defeated Fairfield in the 5th Place Game, 42-40.
Herrin’s Kyrese Lukens was named Tournament MVP.
Hamilton County’s Braxton Miller was the recipient of the Duff-Kingston Award.

The Carmi-White County Wrestling team went 2-1 at the Carterville Tournament on Saturday. The Bulldogs lost a close one to Effingham, 47-35, but bounced back to defeat Dupo and Trico.
Connor Benham, Nolan Garner, Trent Chambers, Jazz Duckworth, Branson Burnett, Nolan Aud, Kale Wiggins, and Laeden Vargas all picked up wins on the day.
The Bulldog Wrestlers are off until next Wednesday when they travel to Johnston City.
