The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions resuming for U.S 41 in Evansville for concrete patching and pavement overlay.
Beginning on or around April 10, contractors will resume concrete patching work on U.S. 41 Restrictions will begin about half of a mile south of Lynch Road and end just north of Boonville-New Harmony Road. Workers will begin in the northbound right lane. After that work is complete they will move to the southbound driving lane and sequence to the northbound left lane and then the southbound left lane.
Patching operations on this section are expected to be complete by the end of June, depending upon weather conditions. This project began last June on a section of U.S. 41 from I-69 to Virginia Street and has moved north as work has been completed. Once patching operations have been substantially completed, work will begin to resurface U.S. 41 in the project limits. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
